This grant allows any teacher, from those in the country’s busy capital of Suva to the hardest-to-reach outer islands, to apply for funding to enrich the academic opportunities available for their students.

Support Mental Well-Being* offers experiences beyond the classroom that promote holistic well-being
Empower Teachers supplies resources for teachers to foster innovation and enhance student engagement
Elevate Education Quality introduces technology and innovative tools to advance the quality of education
*Excursions must comply with Ministry of Education guidelines.
Applicants must be Ministry of Education-certified educators in Fiji seeking up to FJ$5,000*, and should be able to:
Illustrate their project’s direct contribution to enhancing educational quality
Include endorsement letters from their head of school and Divisional Education Officer
Target critical year groups to boost literacy, numeracy, and standardized test outcomes
Present evidence of their target year’s academic achievement and plans to improve standardized test scores
Select projects thoughtfully to avoid payment delays, using FIJI Water Foundation-approved suppliers
*Up to two applications can be submitted per applicant. Please note that submission of a grant application does not guarantee funding.

If your project is selected to be awarded a grant, our staff will purchase your supplies and have them delivered directly to your school starting in August. For field trips, we will help make arrangements and we will pay invoices directly.
