How does an organization or community apply for funding?
We ask that all applicants submit a completed application form along with documents required below and any other supplimentary documents or information.We accept proposals year round. Our board meets twice a year to deliberate and select projects which meet our funding criteria. Our funds usually become available in February and September.
Applications will be reviewed and recommended projects will be presented to our foundation’s board semi-annually for approval.
We are currently receiving applications for projects to be implemented in 2010.
Deadline for submissions this cycle is the end July 2010.
Funding for applications submitted this will be made available in September 2010.
Your proposal should include the following:
- Completed application form A-E (including timeline and budget)
- Stated 25% community contribution in cash or kind
- 2-3 Quotations from local retailers for materials required
- Letter of support from relevant landowner, community leader, government, or regulatory authority
