ACCOR Hotels Cure Kids Fiji raised $380,000 in fundraising efforts to assist the country's sick and underprivileged children.
The funds were raised by Accor teams from across the Asia Pacific, and the four-day Race to Survive and Extreme Challenge event that ended Tuesday at Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa on Denarau.
The event began with a competition in swimming, kayaking and running.
It capped off with a complete makeover of the Nadi Hospital with the help of Cure Kids partners for the event - Rosie Holidays and Accor Hotels.
FIJIWater continued its support towards the Accor Extreme Challenge to Cure Kids with a donation of $30,000. The fundraiser is a bi-annual event.
The $251,000 from the first fundraiser in 2006 was used to purchase vital medical equipment and medicines for Lautoka Hospital. The 2008 event raised more than $310,000.
