26/08/09 - Fiji Water Foundation comes of age
Home  >  About Us  >  Newsroom  >  2009  >  26/08/09 - Fiji Water Foundation comes of age

The Fiji Water Foundation yesterday celebrated two years of its existence in development projects throughout Fiji.
Natural Waters of Viti Limited Foundation coordinator, Molly Powers, said the celebration marked a milestone achievement by those who had worked with Fiji Water Foundation.

Ms Powers said as a peaceful, middle-income developing nation, Fiji could easily fall between the cracks on the stage of global outreach.

Launched in August 2007 through a grant from Fiji Water owners Stewart and Lynda Resnick, the Foundation was a charitable trust funded by the owners, employees, and partners from around the world.

The Foundation is one of the largest philanthropic organisations in Fiji and focused on improving access to and quality health care, improving access to and quality education and provision of water, sanitation, and infrastructure projects to improve quality of life.
